Los Angeles Fire Department conducted testing of Grasscrete prior to approving the use of Grasscrete. The attached pictures show the testing being done with firefighters in the basket with the ladder truck boom fully extended over the building to verify that there’s no deflection within the concrete system itself. The reason why Grasscrete is approved for use by the Los Angeles Fire Department is because of its superior load bearing capacity and ability to spread the weight of the outriggers over a larger area then a precast or plastic pervious system.
